Steps to reproduce
- Open any document in a tab
- Pin the tab
- Press ⌘W or use the right-click menu “Close” command to close the tab
- Press ⇧⌘T to undo closing the tab
Expected result
The tab should be restored in pinned state.
Actual result
The tab is reopened, but the pin is gone. Reproducible in the sandbox vault.

Additional information
There is an FR for “undo close pane” to preserve pins since Oct '21, which looks similar. I am reposting because…
- the menu item has been renamed since (tabs instead of panes), and
- I consider this to be a bug rather than a feature:
- the menu item is called “undo” so it should restore the previous state of the application fully,
- this is most likely an omission, because of how the pin icon prevents clicking the close icon, avoiding the issue for mouse-only users.
