Undo Action Functionality in Obsidian

Hello,

I am a loyal user of Obsidian, and I greatly appreciate the powerful features it offers. However, I noticed the absence of an important feature: the ability to undo an action.

For instance, I sometimes mistakenly select a paragraph and unintentionally replace it by pressing a key on the keyboard. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward way to undo this action and revert to the previous state. This has happened to me multiple times, and I believe adding an “undo” feature with a common shortcut, such as Ctrl+Z, would greatly enhance the user experience.

Thank you for this amazing application, and I hope my suggestion is helpful.

Best regards,

Moved to help. Obsidian does have undo.

If it isn’t working for you, hopefully you can discover why, and fix it.

You can find some troubleshooting steps to try here: About the Bug reports category - #11 by system

Obsidian uses OS undo, copy and paste AFAIK.
Cut is more special as it doesn’t need text selected to cut a paragraph.
