Underscore (_) gets replaced with asterics (*)

I seem to have enabled some setting that automatically replaces any _ that I input with an *. I cannot find which one it is… I have tried disabling auto-brackets and other settings and plugins but none of these seem to have any effect on my editors behaviour.

Do you happen to use plugin Linter? I can still use underscore _ to format as usual, no automatic replacement.

You should test with sandbox vault to be sure it’s because of Obsidian core plugins or because of community plugins.
