Unable to sync obsidian, password input keeps saying incorrect

What I’m trying to do

Hi! I’m a new user, and I’m using Obsidian on a Macbook and iOS. I am able to create vaults on my Macbook but when I try to login to sync across devices, it says my password and email are incorrect.

Things I have tried

I’ve tried quitting the apps, logging in and out again online, restarting my computer, and trying to enable the “sync” toggle-on in the Macbook app

Community plugins: for bugs, please first try updating all your plugins to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community plugins.

And you’re aware that the login to the forum vs sync/publish is two different accounts? And you’ve payed for the sync option?

Lastly, you’re most likely better off talking to [email protected] for other account related issues.

If i am syncing with iCloud, I don’t need to create an Obsidian sync (unless I want to have my data synced to two places), correct?

Not only don’t you need to combine iCloud sync and Obsidian sync, but it seems you really shouldn’t combine them, as they might interfere with each other, if I understood others correctly!

So where you want to input the password is a very timely question.
