Things I have tried
Hello everyone! I’ve been using Obsidian for a couple of months and I love the program. I had my vault properly configured to use Obsidian Git (it was working flawlessly) but I had to make a factory reset to my laptop and I’m installing everything again.
I’m not a very skilled Git user, so I followed the post Using Gitdesktop + Github + ObsidianGit to backup vaults
After seting up everything, obsidian is stuck with the message “git: pulling changes…”, so it seems that it’s not working
My last attempt was to create with GitHub Desktop a remote repository with the vault folder. I’m able to pull the changes via GitHub Desktop, but I’m unable to automate the process with Obsidian Git (I keep having the “git: pulling changes…” message).
What I’m trying to do
Make Obsidian Git work.
Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
