Unable to select multiple file

What I’m trying to do

I’m still new, currently on obsidian v1.9.12 (desktop) & windows 11. I’m unable to select multiple files.

Things I have tried

  1. Shift + left click or Alt + left click doesnt select anything
  2. Ctrl + left click or Ctrl + Shift + left click opens right tab instead of selecting multiple files

Appreciate any help Thank you

In Obsidian you press Ctrl + left click, to select and open one file to the right, then repeat the process for all the files you want open. There isn’t a way to open multiple files at once.

I would like to select few files at once (to merge, delete etc) but couldnt. Have to select & delete one by one

Try in the Sandbox help vault. Maybe you have a plugin installed that is interfering. You should be able to select multiple files.

Thank you very much. Its File Tree Alternative plugin that prevents me from multiple selection.
