Unable to open files from file-explorer panel with keyboard (enter key)

Steps to reproduce

  • open sandbox vault
  • run command “Files: Show file explorer”
    • You should now be able to navigate through file-explorer with the arrow up/down
  • Select a note and press “Enter”

Expected result

File should open

Nothing happens

This has worked for me before, but I’m not entirely sure in which version it broke. (it broke recently, so one of the latest versions to-date)

Likewise. Pressing enter while navigating the file explorer with the keyboard no longer opens the file.

Having the same issue. It was introduced in recent updates(3-4 weeks).
Opening files from File Explorer doesn’t work with “Enter”, but files still can be opened by pressing “Space”
