Unable to login/signup in obsidian

hello guys i am new to this obsidian so pls help me to fix this.
now i am taking notes in obsidian using mobile app and laptop(ubuntu). so i want to sync these notes via account.
so i tried to signup using my email account
but it give the error “Login failed, please double check your email and password.”
again i double checked it and tried with another email but the error was same.
so i tried to forget the password method it shown the “We have sent an email to **********@gmail.com to reset your password.”
but i don’t get any email from obsidian even i tried this more then 10 times

  1. i tried to login via this url https://obsidian.md/
  2. i tried the email uppercase method
  3. i tried the another browsers firebox, chrome, mobile browsers

Did you get the login failed when you tried to signup? Or did you successfully sign up, but afterwards, logging in gave you that error?

Did you actually make an account in the first step?

Also, if you mean you tried to use your forum username/password, the forum and Obsidian app are completely separate accounts. You’ll need to set up a new account for Obsidian, if you didn’t in the first step.

i got this error on my signup step i don’t have any obsidean accounts and i know the obsidean and forum obsidean are different accounts.

I’m not sure if we are just confused about terms or not. The error looks like you are trying to login/sign in. You need to create an account first.
