Unable to login - Error "Recovery code is incorrect..."

What I’m trying to do

When I try to log in to my account at Account - Obsidian, I receive the error message “Recovery code is incorrect, please double check your code.” It’s like the page is asking for an MFA code or recovery key, but there’s no place to enter one.

Things I have tried

I’ve searched the help docs and the forum for the phrase “recovery code”.
I’ve intentionally entered an incorrect password, and when I do I get the standard message “Login failed, please double check your email and password.”, rather than the recovery code message.

I’m having the same problem. I changed the password with “forgot password” and I get the same error. It’s almost like they’re blocking signins.

It appears to be back to normal now. I can sign in again.

We are currently looking into this issue.

Can you please let us know if you have 2 factor authentication enabled or not? Are you using a password manager to fill the login form? Thank you.

We’re working on a fix. In the meantime, please log in by entering your credentials manually instead of letting password managers auto-fill the fields.
