Unable to drag and drop ".webarchive" file format

Steps to reproduce

In Safari, save a webpage as a “Web Archive” format.

Locate document in Finder. Drag and drop the .webarchive file into Obsidian (including the sandbox vault). Nothing happens. Even when the “Detect all file extensions” toggle is turned on.

Expected result

I expect to see the file added to the document in the same way that other files do(pdfs, org files, excel spreadsheets… etc.)

Actual result

Nothing happens. The cursor blinks but the file doesn’t get added to the vault and there is no change in the markdown.

What is the complete filename?

OMG. I’m sorry to waste your time. The filename had slashes in it and when I changed it to “test.webarchive” it worked without any problems.

Edit: I feel silly for not realizing it was the filename, but I guess I would suggest an error message so that someone would know that’s why it wasn’t being added when trying to drag and drop?
