Unable to change Theme

What I’m trying to do

Obsidian 1.7.7 running on Windows 10.

I have downloaded a new theme and applied this, but nothing changes in Obsidian.

Things I have tried

  • I have tried restarting Obsidian - does not help.

  • I have tested in the Sandbox vault + creating a new empty vault - theme changing works fine in both of those vaults.

  • The theme is the selected theme in the dropdown list:

  • I have tried changing the “base color scheme” - it does not effect the theme.

  • I have tried a number of different themes.

  • I have tried re-installing Obsidian

I got it working…

I have added a snippets file in .obsidian as suggested here:

Once I removed this file it started working…
