This request is in no way urgent, but I would love to see it eventually implemented some time, perhaps when major features are shipped and the devs start polishing the details.
I would like Obsidian to offer more options in its macOS Dock Menu such as recently opened files. Many apps that work with files have this feature, e.g. VS Code, PDF Expert, Affinity Photo & Designer, and I use it almost every day to launch an app directly to a file I’m working on recently:
