Long-time user of Ulysses here who just discovered Obsidian and am very, very impressed. I’ve begun importing a lot of files for things I’m currently working on from Ulysses to Obsidian. Ulysses exports markdown files and things like footnotes and basic formatting are translating fine, but in-line comments (delimited as ++comment++) and highlights (done with ::double colons:: as in Bear) aren’t making the jump very well. I’m sure there are other issues. I’ve seen some partial solutions in the current community plugins, but nothing specific to Ulysses. I’m no whiz with coding, but if anyone is looking for an afternoon’s project that would make me and probably a lot of other Ulysses users very very happy and grateful, this would be it!
