Tooltips cropped if sidepanes are moved to the opposite side

Consolidation of two bug reports

Steps to reproduce

  • move the File Explorer panel from the left sidebar to the right sidebar
  • hover over a note
  • observe the lack of the file created/modified timestamps tooltip (added in version 0.10.3)

Expected result

  • tooltip appears to the left and is visible

Actual result

  • tooltip appears to the right and is not visible

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS
  • Obsidian version: 0.10.6

Additional information

This bug was less obvious when I disabled my custom CSS and checked with the default appearance, since its the edge of a black tooltip appearing over the vertical black bar at the very right when the right sidebar is open. In fact I wouldn’t have noticed it if I wasn’t using custom CSS.

Minor UI flaw:

If the Backlinks pane is docked to the right, then the “Click to collapse” and “Click to expand” pop-ups are cut off.
