Use case or problem
Sometimes I use indents specifically for the folding capabilities and outline structure, but without the - or * or + symbols for list formatting. In cases where I do not want to wrangle with the formatting symbols, it would be nice to have this same functionality but without using those symbols. You can get folding and proper indenting in Edit Mode without using list formatting symbols. However, in Preview Mode, even with Strict Line Breaks turned off, the indenting doesn’t show. I wish it did.
Proposed solution
If there were a toggle for showing indents in Preview Mode, this issue wouldn’t be an issue.
