This is crazy, the latest few notes have been wiped away

What I’m trying to do

I was using Obsidian daily from years. Recently I’ve changed 3-4 notes as I’m working on something and put all the content in the notes in Obsidian (how dumb I was).
Today, without restarting laptop or closing and opening Obsidian, my notes just were completely wiped. Tags removed. The only thing that is left on the note is just the title.
Ofc there is no history (for whatever reason). Great experience. If there is one thing this tool should do is to keep notes. Apparently it doesn’t.

Luckily the tool has a history, so was able to restore some of my notes by doing the following

To access File Recovery:

  1. Open Obsidian Settings
  2. Navigate to Core Plugins → File recovery
  3. Click View next to “Snapshots”
  4. Search for your empty note by typing its name
  5. Select the file and browse through available snapshots
  6. Choose a snapshot with your content and click Restore or Copy

What OS? Where are you storing your notes? Are you using a 3rd party cloud sync tool?
