Steps to reproduce

When I close and open the app

Expected result

I don’t get prompted

Actual result

I get this message:

my vault is at “/Users/franabenza/Library/Application Support/obsidian/Obsidian Help”
I started using obsidian from a Vault that seemed to be for Obsidian itself. Is this the reason? where can I toggle demo?

You should not use the help vault. The help vault is for documentation purposes and is overwritten frequently. Create you own vault and use that.

Click the First Icon. Create you own vault and use that.

Will I loose the animation of my notes being created?

I don’t know of which animation you are talking about. I suggest you make a backup of whatever you have right now and then create a new vault and transfer you stuff there.

You are running the risk of obliteration.
