no idea. is it a corporate owned computer?

If you google the error message you’ll find several suggestions on how to fix it, like this one, or on make use of.

  • @WhiteNoise Its not a corporate owned computer.
  • @heumed I’ve followed the make use of link and followed the steps. No success.
  • @heumed I will try the first link later tonight…

I have solved the issue by downloading and running Obsidian in Windows safe mode.

windows button + R ,
“msconfig”,
On the boot tab, checkmark Safe Boot, checkmark Network, press OK,
Restart system,
Start Microsoft Edge, download Obsidian, install Obsidian,
windows button + R ,
“msconfig”,
On the boot tab, uncheckmark Safe Boot, uncheckmark Network, press OK,
Restart.
