There are some issues with the footnote markers added to the tasks

I created a travel note and added a to-do task within it. I inserted footnotes into the to-do task, then switched to preview mode. In preview mode, the footnote markers for the task display abnormally—only showing numbers without clickable hyperlinks. However, footnotes inserted into non-task content do not have this issue. This problem only occurs in preview mode; when exported to PDF, everything works correctly.

For bug reports, you need to follow and include the bug report template. It says no community plugins, themes, or css snippets enabled.

It looks like you are using the Tasks community plugin.

My apologies, this should be a help-related question. I didn’t post in the correct section. Thank you for your help.

All good. Hopefully someone can have a look.

What’s the lined background? Is this from a theme?

The more info about your setup you can share, the easier it will be for folks to help.

According to your suggestion, I tried disabling the Task plugin, and the issue disappeared. It is confirmed that the problem is caused by the Task plugin, not Obsidian itself. The lined background is a CSS effect added to enhance the reading experience, and the theme I’m using is Minimal.

Hello, same problem for me. I use the default theme, and I confirm the problem is caused by Tasks plugin.
