You can write in that field if you want something else.
I am not sure understand this and it doesn’t follow the bug report template.

The text that I write into the field is not visible. I expect it to remain visible.
Maybe some plugin issue?
In any case, if you close Obsidian, go to your .obsidian folder in your Explorer and open app.json.
There’ll be a line such as this:
"attachmentFolderPath": "./assets",
If what you wanted to put in there is there, then it’s there. Then if you don’t see anything in the app itself, then you have some cosmetic issue with the theme, some css snippet, or a plugin, I reckon.
