Text wrap feature for bases

Use case or problem

I am trying to make a database with quotes accessibly. The issue is, I cannot see the entire quote (that I have put in the aliases property) entirely on the base unless I expand the section on the database. Doing this would negate the accessibility that I am going for.

Proposed solution

Adding a “text-wrap” feature as in an excel sheet or as is default in notion databases

Current workaround (optional)

I tried changing the length of the text box, but that does not help, so there are no current workarounds to this issue.

this is possible already, just select a taller row height in the tables config.

Also please search before posting, this has been asked before.

The rowHeight doesn’t solve the issue posted as it just increased the height of all rows. There should be a word wrap option like the one found in html tables.

If you are asking for variable row height, we won’t do that. For performance reason, the rowHeight of all cells has to be the same.
