A post was split to a new topic: Testing edge case pt. 2
Confirmed that splitting a solution post into a new thread leaves the original thread marked as solved with no way to fix it (except perhaps temporarily merging the solution post back in, which I will try).
Merging it back in doesn’t fix the problem. But subsequently marking the re-merged post as the solution and then unmarking it does. I suspect this could be done with any post without bothering to re-merge the split one.k
