Templater won't load on Mobile

What I’m trying to do

This is a new behavior where Templater won’t load on any iOS device. It disables it and when I go back to the desktop version it seems to be off as well.

Things I have tried

I would not be surprised to find that this is a compatibility problem with a plugin. I’ve run different scenarios of plugins on and off to see if I can identify a conflict, but I haven’t gone through the more tedious process of turning everything off and engaging the plugins one at a time. (Hoping that there’s an easier way.)
I’ll take any advice.

By any chance, are you using beta / Catalyst Obsidian on desktop (v1.13.2) and the public version (v1.12.7) on iOS? Anything like that?

Right, so my understanding is that there are two current versions of Templater: one to be used with Obsidian up to v1.12.7, and one to be used with Obsidian v1.13+. What’s probably happening is the newer version is syncing over to mobile (not updated to beta Obsidian) where it’s incompatible.

Assuming you want to keep using the Obsidian beta on desktop you can update mobile Obsidian to 1.13.x or don’t sync Templater. i.e., have one version of Templater on desktop and the older one on mobile.

Depending on how you sync, updating mobile Obsidian to the beta may be the easiest. Then you won’t have to worry about it. The 1.13.2 mobile beta is stable; I haven’t had any issues with it.
