Templater suddenly stopped automatically working after 2 years

What I’m trying to do

I set it up in January of '24 and it’s been working reliably ever since.

I tried to show my simple template but I keep getting an error about links in my post.

Things I have tried

I can’t figure out what has changed. When I bring up obsidian first thing in the morning, it used to open a new daily log, but now it doesn’t. Templater is enabled. I’ve found where other people have had this problem, but don’t see a resolution. This was great when it was working. If I click on ‘Open today’s daily note’, that works. Just not automatically on startup. Please send help
