Things I have tried

I am new to Obsidian and the Tasks plugin. I am trying to create a Tasks note that shows all open todo items across all my notes. I have a note named ‘Tasks’ with the code block

Ignore the backslashes, I added them to make the code block show up correctly.

I create a preview pane and pin it in the bottom right of my screen. I it showing
0 tasks

and it will not update to show open tasks I create in different notes. What am I missing?

Do you use the tag option? I have found that when I use that in the plugin options all my tasks queries stay empty. If so, remove the tag you selected and uncheck the second option. You then need to restart obsidian. After that your tasks should be turn up in your query.
