Tasks plugin with easy to add option possible?

What I’m trying to do

Hello, coming from Logseq, I installed and enabled the Obsidian Tasks plugin Version: 7.2.1.0 By Clare Macrae and Ilyas Landikov (created by Martin Schenck).
I’m looking for an easy way to quickly select an icon to create the task checklist box, rather than dash-space-open square bracket-space-close square bracket.
Also, if the tasks can somehow work with the Kanban board that would be helpful too :slight_smile:

No AI, it makes up answers and wastes time

You can use the “Toggle checkbox status” command, which by default is assigned the hotkey md/Ctrl L. If you want a button, plugins like Commander or Editing Toolbar let you assign commands to buttons.

Thank you, the Editing Toolbar is great and also has a handy task multi-function button. Testing if the Tasks plugin is still needed.
