Tasks Plugin, No Lag at All on Base Model M2 Mac Mini!

I love the Obsidian Tasks Plugin, however, the way I use it and with over 7,000 tasks, spread out among 1,500+ files and growing constantly I thought it was going slowly because of the queries. Turns out the actual slowness is created by the rendering of the Tasks in queries, especially queries with lots of tasks being rendered (i.e. those that don’t set limits on the number of notes to be output). Well, I was in the most desperate state, editing on a PC I had built in 2020, lagging every second, my edits taking many seconds to render on screen, even with the performance recommendations. The plugin is just too useful to let go, and so are the other ~55 plugins I use (not to count the 20+ custom snippets and 4 custom fonts). I got into possession of a base model Mac Mini M2, MSRP I think is around $500-600 + tax. I tried Obsidian on it with all my plugins an tasks and everything works like I’m gliding on water. I am not here advertising for Apple and I know not everyone has the privilege to be able to afford computer upgrades, but for those who can benefit from knowing that there is a way to run Obsidian fluidly on relatively affordable hardware (M2 is even offered on $800 Macbook Airs). I can only imagine it runs even better on M3, and now the M4 chips being rolled out. Hope this helps anyone, and thank you so much to all of the creators of these wonderful plugins and this wonderful software for making my daily work a joy!
