Tags with emoticons not work in reading mode

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a tag with emoticon.
  2. Change current view to reading.
  3. Click on the tag.
  4. The tag not showed in searching field.

Expected result

Tags with emoticons work correctly in both reading and editing modes.

Actual result

After clicking on the tag with the emoticon in editing view, it brings you to the search window when clicked, while in reading view it doesn’t work.

Have you tried the same thing in the Help → Sandbox Vault without using any plugins? If it works there (as it does for me) then the issue is likely to be a plugin, theme, font, or css snippet.

EDIT: Might be worth updating the installer as well.

Ok, problem is with Emoji Toolbar plugin.

  1. Open Sandbox
  2. Install Emoji Toolbar and enable it.
  3. Create tag with emoticon, ex. #:bug:
  4. Change to reading mode.
  5. Click on the tag.
