Tags from Canvas doesn't show in the right sidebar of tags

1. Create a new canvas
2. double click on it to create a new text field
3. in the text create a not yet used tag
4. open the right sidebar and show your tags
5. the tag from the canvas is not listed → this is wrong, the tag should show up there

#tags in text cards aren’t connected to Obsidian’s tag index/database.

I think this is the main feature request:

Canvas: Process / Support tags in cards

Use case or problem I’d like to be able to assign tags to a canvas. Proposed solution Please add a function to the canvas that allows doing so.
