I’m working on a translation, and would like to link (as in sync, not a [[link]]) two notes open at the same time in side-by-side panes, so that they would scroll at the same time.
This plugin promises that function, but hasn’t been updated for a while and isn’t working: GitHub - XeroAlpha/markdown-sync-scroll: Synchronize scroll in linked Markdown views.
The Link to pane
option doesn’t appear in the menu anymore.
Is there some way of achieving this?
Thanks!
I’m using the same plugin, and it works nicely. It’s OK, except towards the end of the note, it becomes a few lines different.
In the menu, you should see Link with tab...
. Did you reload/restart Obsidian after installing this plugin? Some plugins require this, and I’m sure this one is one of them.
Cheers, Marko

I was clicking the “…” menu, not right clicking the tab. Thanks, now it works!

I use this as well when translating and was confused/sad it may not be working as I used it last week.
Glad it’s fine.
