Surely incorporating an ability to track community plug ins and sync them across devices is vital. As I use Ubuntu and Windows daily, thus my community plug-ins are out of synch for example my Journal etc.
All community plugins, community themes, added CSS snippets, and settings are in the .obsidian folder for each vault. You can use a number of sync services to sync vaults(s) between devices and the .obsidian folder comes along for the ride.
