Syncing between Imac, Macbook, Android phone and iPad

Things I have tried

I’m currently syncing nicely using iCloUd between an Imac at work, a Macbook, and an 8th gen iPad.

What I’m trying to do

I’d like to be able to bring my Android phone into the mix, and really can’t get away with spending $90 a year for the official syncing without setting off my partner’s budget alarms.

I personally use Syncthing which is an amazing free and open source service with a lot of advanced options
