Sync - removing/deleting one of the many sync devices

What I’m trying to do

I have synced 3 devices with my Obsidian file. I want to delete one due to safety reason - no longer like to work on that device.

It is risky to work on the living organism not knowing the consequences of the actions to be done.

I wonder how to detach and delete one instance of the synced file(s).

On that device go to Settings > Sync and disconnect from the remote vault.

Then you can delete all files on that device, any changes will not be synced.
