When opening the first tab while having the default mode for new tabs as reading mode, the option to change to edit mode disappears from the command palette and the shortcut also does not work. Only way to get back to editing mode is by click on the icon in the top right corner after which you can easily toggle between the two modes again for all files. Also happens in the sandbox vault.
