Nope. The Obsidian dev team never announces release dates ahead of time, and in this case it’s even more uncertain because it’s out of their hands. It first needs to be fixed upstream by the Chromium team, then the Electron team needs to add it, and only after both of those things happen can it be incorporated into Obsidian.
I know, it’s frustrating. I want it ASAP too.

Thanks, just +1! Need this badly to autocorrect contractions. Typing apostrophes all the time is tiresome.

You can autocorrect contractions with a text expander, including the one built into macOS (Settings > Keyboard > Text Replacements) or a third-party app like Espanso.
