Support Block Links to table rows / cells

I would find linking to rows in tables very useful.

Thanks,

I would find this super useful as well. +1, just in case…

Oh yes this would be an amazing feature! I don’t know why more people aren’t requesting for it.

I Need this feature too

I would love this, too! If it’s been added, please let me know how to do it.

I should have searched before creating the tables

That would be an awesome feature to have!

As a previous user of vimwikii, I’ve relied on this capability extensively. Any situation where you have a lengthy table–with dozens or hundreds of entries–is much more useful if you can link to a specific row.

The alternatives within obsidian, at present, seem to be: A) convert table rows into bullets with comma or colon-separated text fields; or B) break out each row into an individual note (the Zettelkasten way) with properties corresponding to the table headings. Both bullets and notes can be individually linked.

Neither is ideal: A) loses the readability of a table; B) a large amount of overhead/fragmentation just to arrive at what a table gives–while still being able to link to the “row note” used to generate the table.

Please consider adding some way to create an anchor within an individual row–perhaps it could be done by revising tables so that rows are considered blocks.

Obsidian has much to commend it over vimwiki (e.g., easy availability on mobile devices) but this is a stumbling block for easy conversion from vimwiki to obsidian for those with extensive tabular data.

I would go even further and request the ability to create links to individual tables cells!
