Hello!
I’ve searched for an answer to this but can’t seem to find anything. Maybe I’m not searching the right things, but who knows.
What I’m trying to do
I’m in sales (wine) and take a lot of notes on products to sell. My workflow involves me taking notes on the producer, and then embedding those notes in a separate note for each of their wines. This allows me to have high-level knowledge about the estate and winemaker available on each individual product page without flipping back and forth between pages, or copying the same information onto each product. When I take notes on the producer, I like to add a citation for where the information came from (our company website, producer website, conversations with the winemaker, etc.). Right now I’m using a plugin called “Footnote Shortcut” to add these citations to the note, and link them to a footnote section where I can put full link to my highlights or the article. On the page it works great, (replacing the name of my citation with a number as superscript) but on the embedded note I have on the product page, it just smashes the citation name in full sized text at the end of the line. I would like it to be displayed as the proper superscript citation on both the original file, and the embed.
Things I have tried
I have tried viewing the document in both reader mode and editing mode, but neither have worked. I have considered a separate plugin, but I’m not sure if that will do anything, also I don’t want anything too much more complicated for my citations. This is just personal research, not academic. I have also considered a custom CSS class, but I don’t really know where to start there.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
