Sudden electricity blackout can cause opened Obsidian tabs(Notes) corrupted

Steps to reproduce

Sudden electricity black out while editing your Obsidian notes.

Expected result

The content should be saved and not corrupted(For some reason It becomes corrupted… What).

Actual result

The tabs that you are editing becomes corrupted and It’s content becomes NULL or completely unreadable content and of course It’s original content cannot be recovered(Maybe).

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Custom theme and snippets: for cosmetic issues, please first try updating your theme and disabling your snippets. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community theme and snippets.


We cannot do miracles if there is a power outage. You can try the file recovery plugin and see if you can recover an older version.
You should also have your own backups.
