STYLE SETTINGS - Load local vault images

What I’m trying to do

Maybe its just me to not understand, but I cant figure out how to use STYLE SETTINGS’s type: variable-text value to add local URLs / uris.

Since Obsidian v.1.2.8 on, STYLE SETTINGS is unable to load local URLs, ( eg file:// ) for security reasons. I don’t get why loading local, vault stored images (eg. PNG files) should cause issues. This context is added for the purpose to ask a kind of re-implementation or workaround to load local (image) URLs again.
