A variation of this has been reported previously: “Periods mistakenly interpreted as part of URLs, breaking hyperlinks” but remains an issue for me in v1.10.6 in Windows 11 Pro related to copy/pasting DOI bibliographic entries while performing research.
10.1103/PhysRevLett.61.1085 becomes 10.1103/PhysRevLett.1085 pasted into Obsidian.
This gremlin has caused significant issues for my research as it has led to accusations of fabricating reference citations since DOIs are widely used. This is not a URL issue as was noted in previous report from years ago, and does not occur in other apps (Notepad or Visual Studio Code).
Please follow and include the bug report template when submitting bug reports. Thanks.
The example looks fine on my end.
