I’d love to be able to have Obsidian store my notes in my Solid (https://solidproject.org/) Pod.

I would be curious to know if you have more thoughts on this… Do you mean a sync between your Obsidian (local) and a remote Solid Pod? Or should the data be stored (and loaded) from the remote Solid Pod? (With an offline cache, of course). Or something else entirely?

It would require a sync of some kind, but I think that’s pretty much just copying files? A service should be easy to implement, and that would turn the local copy into an offline cache. So it’s both?
Overall, I think there must be some sync standards to follow with the implementation, but I’m not sure how far along Project Solid is currently.

But I like this idea, I’d love to have an Obsidian Pod! I hope pods are generally cloud hosted, with simple options for local backup? Even though it’s very much a privacy tech, I don’t care much about privacy while testing.
