I have the same problem on macOS with Obsidian 1.7.7

In my setup this behavior is triggered by this plugin: GitHub - xRyul/obsidian-image-converter: ⚡️ Convert, compress, resize, annotate, markup, draw, crop, rotate, flip, align images directly in Obsidian. Drag-resize, rename with variables, batch process. WEBP, JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIF.

When I disable it everything goes back to normal.

can you post a screenshot of your sync logs?

Oh, that solved it.
I couldn’t know how to test sync with sandbox vault, so I tested with default template. I’m sorry @WhiteNoise .

I see that you already opened a github issue, thank you.

Just wanted to say sorry for all the trouble. It was excessive logging in the console due to incorrect timings for the cache cleanup, it’s been fixed now Release 1.2.19 · xRyul/obsidian-image-converter · GitHub
