Start Obsidian with specific vault

I’m sure this question has been asked before but I’m not able to find any information regarding this.

Is it possible to open Obsidian with a specific vault so we can make shortcuts for different vaults?

I’d like to have the chance to open e.g. my personal vault without having to open Obsidian with my work vault and switching from there.

when i start obsidian with the -h option it gives me the splash screen where i can select which vault i want to open. Normally it just opens the most recent vault. That’s starting it from the command line by the way,

  • obsidian://open?vault=my%20vault
    This opens the vault my vault. If the vault is already open, focus on the window.
