i have no hopes anymore, it was useful while it lasted, they really just gave up on this. now all we have are “workarounds”

It makes me sad and it’s very disappointing cause it used to work so feels like an unnecessary regression, an explanation or reasoning behind the change would help.

In near future, when the folding phones will get more cheaper. This feature will become an essential functionality to have in these phones.
Not only in folding phones, but often while using my normal single screen phone in horizontal mode, I badly feel the need for this functionality, where I can open PDF on one side and note on other. I use external keyboard so this is a very important feature to have on phone.
I also use the Full Screen Toggle plugin to get aa full screen. (It only lacks hiding the phone’s status bar on top). So this helps a lot in making most of the available screen.
I understand this request is to have this functionality as an integrated feature. But still I would like to know if it’s already possible using some plugin.
When I asked on Discord I haven’t found any such plugin. So I also have decided to develop a plugin. I have got any answer from the developers if it’s really possible for a plugin to do it. If it’s easily achievable I’ll build a plugin to have this feature on phone and also th le full screen feature integrated into it.
