I am using Windows Version of Obsidian. I would like to use spellcheck. When I turn it on I have got a message “A spellcheck directory is empty” I have got English locale.
Is it possible to turn it on? How Can I o it?

Go to Settings -> Editor, it is the first option.

But a warning that the spellchecker right now is not great. It is not using the Windows native language or spellchecker. You’ll find a lot of words get checked that shouldn’t. You do have the option to add words to a custom dictionary (see gear icon next to toggle). This should all improve in the future.

I am also getting the same message when I click on the gear icon. Please resolve this very important functionality.
