Please add a spellchecker in German. In general I think Obsidian should offer spellchecker in the most common languages, that would be extremely convenient for writing.
It already exists. You can turn on Spellcheck under Settings -> Editor -> Spellcheck and add languages below.

My MacOS language is English and I’d like to use English and German for the Spellchecker. My menu under Spellcheck languages does not offer any selection. Am I missing anything here?
add german to macos, Obsidian will follow.
Have done this, Spellcheck languages menu item can still not be selected… (?) It says “Spellcheck Dictionary is empty”, and there is none, no English no German.
