In the editor, when typing all lowercase words in the editor that should begin with a capital letter the spell check suggestion is in all caps. For example, when writing “christmas”, the spell checker suggests “CHRISTMAS”.

post reproduceble steps and make sure you are not running third party plugins and using default css.
I am running Obsidian v0.10.1 (installer version v0.8.14). I just created a brand new vault, turned on spell check and typed into a new note.
I can’t repro. Can you please try to download and reinstall obsidian from the website.
You have an old version of the installer with a previous version of electron. Not sure if it’ll help.
