I am using Obsidian 1.8.10 on Fedora 42 with GNOME, installed via GNOME Software as a Flatpack.
Steps to reproduce
Install IBus speech-to-text input method, e.g. per this guide.
Add this input method to the list of you enabled input source.
Configure the input method as necessary (download models etc.)
Switch to that input source, make sure the recognition is on.
Say anything in the language that is configured for the speech-to-text input method while editing a note in Obsidian.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes, tested in a sandbox vault and no plugins.
Expected result
Text is entered as it gets recognized by the model.
Actual result
Nothing happens. The text was likely eaten by the grue.

I successfully tested this input method in other applications, such as LibreOffice Write. I even used that input method while reporting this issue. In Firefox it works without any problems as well.
