Space added when embedding blocks in lists

Steps to reproduce

  • create a list
  • embed a block

Expected result

I would expect to see the embed on the same line as the bullet. The next bullet should be directly underneath.

Actual result

Instead, spaces are added on top and bottom of the embed resulting in this:

I understand you may not like it but I don’t consider this a bug. Open a FR.

Why don’t you consider this a bug?
I’d expect embeds to behave the same way regardless of being in a line of its own or in a list.

They behave the same. There’s a marker there, so pulling the embed up isn’t right.
