Sorting headers alphabetically?

What I’m trying to do

  • I have a document with several 1 level headers and text below each one of them, I’ll call them “sections”
  • I’d like to move each section so they are sorted alphabetically by their headers, the content of the section should remain unchanged, only its position in the doc

Things I have tried

  • Dragging the headers using the plugin Quiet Outline, which works, but it’s a bit of a chore, because I have to use my brain (oh, the drama)
  • Cutting, and pasting, which is a real chore
  • I tried the community plugin “Sort and Permute Lines” which sorts every line, not just the headers, even if I collapse the headers, obviously

Any ideas? It’d be cool if the document could stay sorted when I add a new header, without having to run a plugin each time to sort them, but that might be too niche and too much to ask.
Thank you.

To sort sections is easy: just drag n drop headers in the outline core plugin.

Should be active by default, otherwise open settings, Obsidian core plugins and activate that plugin

Thanks, but I know I can do it manually, I’m looking for a way to automate it. And yes, I dislike sorting alphabetically that much, I know it doesn’t take much time, but I really, really don’t like doing it
